Volker Coccola Siberiana
prefix Coccola Siberiana · Siberian · both eyes blue · No variant and no line attributed · also in its ancestry: Siberian, Altai or Barnaul unconfirmed
Under the variant field this directory proposes, this cat would read DBE 161p. A carrier of a variant nobody has sequenced, on no named line. This is the group bare 161 exists for. The proposal is set out in full here, and no registry issues this field today: it is computed from the record at each build and is not part of any registration.
How this cat is connected to the trait
NO RECORDED PARENT LINK JOINS THIS CAT TO A FOUNDER OR TO A TESTED ANIMAL. Nothing in the record connects it to the trait at all.

NAO COCCOLE & FUSA. PARTLY FOUND, 19 AUGUST 2026. THE CATTERY WEBSITE EXISTS at coccola-siberiana.com and describes its cats individually with EMS codes and locus genotypes. WCF REGISTRY RECORDS FOR INDIVIDUAL CATS OF THE PREFIX ALSO EXIST, carrying a WCF identifier, a date of birth, an EMS colour code, a club and a photograph. WHAT COULD NOT BE FOUND, AND STILL CANNOT, IS A PEDIGREE: no WCF record names a parent, no pedigree database holds the prefix under any spelling, and the cattery publishes parents for some cats and not others. TWO OF THE THREE SPELLINGS ARE TWO SEPARATE CATTERIES AND NOT ONE PREFIX. The Coccole & Fusa page, read 19 August 2026, names 'Coccole & Fusa Siberian Cattery, coccole-fusa.com' and 'Coccola Siberiana, coccola-siberiana.com' AS THE TWO ITALIAN CATTERIES BREEDING THESE CATS, so they are distinct establishments and the register no longer treats them as one. The third form, 'Coccol & Fusa', appears once and is read as a transcription of the first. EVERY RECORD UNDER IT RESTS ON BREEDER-COMPILED CHART MATERIAL AND NOT ON A REGISTRY DOCUMENT, with the single exception of Aaron Coccola Siberiana, who appears on the DELICAT club Stammbaum for Bonnie of Siberian Paws. WHAT THAT MEANS FOR A TRACE: no independent source can be used to check the parentage, the dates or the eyes of these animals, and none of them can be looked up by a third party. The records stand as supplied and are marked
VOLKER COCCOLA SIBERIANA. A DOMINANT BLUE EYE BY COAT EXCLUSION, WITH THE COAT PUBLISHED AT FOUR LOCI. This is the cleanest case of the bicolour rule in the register, because the cattery states the genotype rather than only the colour: Dd, Aa, II, Cscs. Cscs is a colourpoint carrier, so he is not pointed; II is silver, not white; and 03 is bicolour, not van and not dominant white. EVERY COMPETING EXPLANATION OF A BLUE EYE IS EXCLUDED BY HIS OWN PUBLISHED COAT. WHICH VARIANT IS NOT DEDUCIBLE FROM THAT and none is adopted. HIS SIRE NAO COCCOLE & FUSA IS ALREADY HELD BLUE-EYED IN THIS REGISTER on chart material, so the eye runs at least two generations in this cattery. NO REGISTRY HAS ENTERED AN EYE CODE ON EITHER OF THEM
VOLKER COCCOLA SIBERIANA. Eye and coat, A DETERMINATION AND NOT A QUERY. This cat is blue-eyed in both eyes, carries a bicolour or locket white code, is not dominant white and is not colourpointed. THE CLASSIC WHITE SPOTTING GENE COVERS AN EYE WHERE THE WHITE HAPPENS TO FALL, WHICH GIVES AN ODD EYE AND NOT TWO BLUE ONES, so the coat does not account for this and a dominant blue eye is present in the line. IT IS NOT THE KIT ODD-EYE CASE. Its registry has entered no dominant eye code on it. WHICH VARIANT IS NOT DEDUCIBLE FROM A COAT CODE and none is adopted.
A flag is not an error. It marks a place where two sources say different things, or where an attribution cannot be made on the evidence held.

The description held
TWO BLUE EYES ON A BICOLOUR, AND HIS REGISTRY CODE CARRIES NO EYE CODE AT ALL. He is SIB ns 03 24: bicolour white spotting, not dominant white. THE CATTERY PUBLISHES HIS GENOTYPE AT FOUR LOCI, 'Dd, Aa, II, Cscs', which makes him a colourpoint CARRIER and not a colourpoint, so the pointed cause is excluded as well as the white one. WHITE SPOTTING COVERS AN EYE WHERE THE WHITE FALLS, GIVING AN ODD EYE, AND DOES NOT GIVE A BICOLOUR TWO BLUE ONES. The coat does not account for him

Source
the Coccola Siberiana cattery's own page for Volker at coccola-siberiana.com, read 19 August 2026, WITH THE EYE COLOUR SUPPLIED TO THIS SURVEY BY THE HOLDER OF THE REGISTER on the same date. A BREEDER'S PAGE FOR ITS OWN CAT. It gives the EMS code, the colour in words, a locus genotype string and both parents by name, AND NO DATE OF BIRTH: the data di nascita field is a dash
This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
