THIS CAT IS WHITE, SO ITS EYE COLOUR CANNOT BE READ: dominant white acts through KIT and a variant through PAX3, and the eye alone does not say which. The two statements are not the same claim and both may hold: white would account for the eye, and the animal may still carry the variant unseen.
