What the pedigree implies
ON THE PATH ABOVE AN OBLIGATE PAIR. Above Ermine Trace Nadeya
This is computed from the recorded parentage each time this site is built and is not typed into the register. It is a deduction from the trait being dominant, not a statement by any source, and it is not the same thing as the record's own status field. Only a laboratory settles it for an individual. The full list is on latent lines.
What is flagged on this tree
ALI G. VON DEN LAUSELÜMMELN. Name. Earlier entered here as Lauselmmeln, with the u umlaut dropped. The PawPeds pedigree for Ermine Trace Nadeya read 17 August 2026 gives Lauselümmeln. THE SPELLING IS CORRECTED AND THE CAT IS THE SAME ANIMAL: SRS ns 11 33 in both
SCHOENWEG MONA LISA. Query. THE CHART RAISES A QUESTION ABOUT THIS CAT'S BLUE EYE AND DOES NOT ANSWER IT. Chart C13 annotates this animal 'Chinchilla-point with very blue eyes, possibly due to a blue-eye gene rather than the colourpoint gene'. A colourpoint cat is blue-eyed through the C locus, so a blue eye on a pointed cat is normally accounted for and carries no evidence of a dominant variant. THE COMPILER'S POINT IS THAT THE DEPTH OF COLOUR IS UNUSUAL, which is an observation and not a test. It is recorded as the query it is and no variant is adopted
A flag is not an error. It marks a place where two sources say different things, or where an attribution cannot be made on the evidence held.

the PawPeds pedigree for Ermine Trace Nadeya, supplied 17 August 2026. Thirty ancestors of thirty possible, twenty-five of them unique, four complete generations out of four, coefficient of inbreeding 1.56 per cent
This directory is a working aid compiled from published charts, registry documents and breeder statements. It is not a register and it has no standing of any kind. The grade attaches to the animal, not to the line: a cat whose ancestor was genotyped is line-traced, not genotyped.
