ONE CAT UNDER TWO SPELLINGS, IRWIN AND IRVEN, AND THAT IS SETTLED BY THE SOURCE ITSELF: the same public account posts him as Irwin on 3 April 2025 and as Irven on 23 May, both times as BRI ny 11 63 DBE of line Igor, and the photographs are of the same animal, a golden shaded cat with one blue eye and one green. Confirmed by the compiler. HE HAS SIRED AT LEAST TWO LITTERS. Litter O, announced 3 April 2025. Litter Z out of Holly Noble Teddy House, announced 23 May, boys coded BRI ny 12 61 DBE and photographed at two and a half months with deep blue eyes. THE TRAIT IS THEREFORE HERITABLE IN HIS LINE AND NOT A SINGLE ODD ANIMAL, which is what makes him worth testing. THE CODE AND THE PHOTOGRAPH DISAGREE ABOUT WHITE AND THE DISAGREEMENT IS NOT RESOLVED HERE. His code carries NO white spotting figure of any kind. The photographs show white on the chin and muzzle. A golden shaded coat also produces a pale chin as part of its own tipping, so a photograph cannot separate white spotting from shading. THE FINDING 21 CLAIM IS THEREFORE WITHDRAWN FROM HIM: that test asks for a blue or odd eye on a cat with no white, and while his code satisfies it his appearance may not. HE STAYS RECORDED AS ODD-EYED, which is not in doubt. THE POSTING ACCOUNT WRITES 'line Igor' AGAINST HIM BOTH TIMES, which is the breeder's own attribution and is recorded as one: SEE THE RETRACTION BELOW: a document does join him to Igor by parentage. S_IRVEN_168 HIS USE IS ATTESTED BY THREE INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTS, NOT ONE. A third cattery, DianasGarden FrenchElegance, published the same photograph of him on 20 April 2025, seventeen days after the litter O announcement, captioned in French as the father of the breeding male it was about to take on. THAT IS A STATEMENT OF INTENT TO USE A SON OF HIS AND NOT A MATING THIS REGISTER CAN ENTER: no kitten, queen or litter is named in it, and no parent link follows from it. It is recorded because three separate accounts publishing one animal as a dominant blue eye sire, across two countries, is what makes the line worth a genotype.
