THE ABSENCE OF A WHITE FIGURE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF WHITE ON THESE CATS. Three cats in this material have now had white spoken to by someone who has seen them, and the three do not agree: Irven vom Wuerzburgerstern and Cooper from SoloMiya are both said to have some, and Topaz Zojka is stated by his own cattery to have none, and ALL THREE CARRY CODES WITH NO WHITE FIGURE. A golden shell or shaded coat puts near-white fur on the chest, muzzle and feet by its own tipping, and the registries writing these codes do not appear to separate that from white spotting consistently. FINDING 21 RESTS ON THE CODE AND IS THEREFORE WEAKER FOR THIS GROUP THAN IT IS ELSEWHERE, and it is not weakened where white is coded reliably, which is most of this register. NO STATUS IS CHANGED ON THIS RECORD BY THIS NOTE: a caveat is not a finding. A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE WHOLE CAT, OR A GENOTYPE, WOULD SETTLE IT.
